HOT WHEELS

The Road King Truck  was produced in 1974. Has a metal chassis and cab with a detachable plastic trailer. Red strip wheels with two axles on cab and one on trailer. Only in the Mountain Mining set

The American Hauler was design by Larry Wood and first produced in 1976. It was only released with a metal chassis and cab with a plastic box. It was released with Redline Wheels (RL) and Basic Wheels (BW). This casting was produced in Hong Kong.

 

The Hiway Hauler (Generation 1) was designed by Larry Wood and first produced in 1980. It was only released with a metal chassis and cab with a plastic box. The plastic box on this model has an extra set of wheels attached giving it 3 axles. All releases had RL wheels with the exception of the 1996 "Jewel" release witch had 5 Spoke Wheels (sp5). This casting was produced in Hong Kong, France, Malaysia, China and the Leo/Mattel in India.

The Movin' On was produced in 1980. Has a metal chassis and cab. Basic Wheels with two axles all attached to the chassis. Only in the Great American Track Race set

 

The Airport Food Service truck was produced in 1983. It was only released with a metal chassis and cab with a plastic box that has a plastic lift under it to lift the box. It was released with Basic Wheels and has 3 axles all attached to the chassis. This casting was produced in France.

The Cargo Lift was produced in 1983. Has a metal chassis and cab with a plastic bed that holds either one or two plastic containers. Made in France and only issued in Europe.

The Hiway Hauler (Generation 2) was designed by Larry Wood and first produced in 1992. It has been released with a metal & plastic chassis, a metal cab and metal & plastic boxes. The third set of wheels are attached to the chassis on this model. It has been  released with many wheel types.  This casting has been produced in many countries.

The Hiway Hauler 2 was designed by Brendon Vetuskey and was first produced in 2012. It has only been released with a plastic chassis, metal cab and plastic box. It only has two axles and has been released with many wheel types. This casting has only been produced in Malaysia.

The Hiway Hauler 3.0 was first produced in 2019. Hot Wheels™ id blends traditional Hot Wheels® play with a digitally connected racing system that revs competition and experimentation. Team Transport: First produced in 2018. Series of 2-Car Sets, consisting of a transporter and a car, both in identical racing livery.

Team Transport: First produced in 2020. Series of sets with one transporter and three other vehicles. Packaged in diorama-style packaging.
